Pierce County Composting & Specialized Recycling Hub
Home to the Pierce County composting facility, our Purdy location processes organic waste into premium P.R.E.P. compost. Our advanced environmental controls guarantee sustainable, cost-effective processing for the local community.
Specialized On-Site Recycling Programs
- Free E-Cycle Washington: Pierce County residents can drop off up to 10 electronics per day at no charge, including TVs, computers, and monitors. Commercial haulers must use a commercial disposal site.
- Bikes for Kids Collection: Drop off aluminum-frame bicycles in good, rideable condition to support local children and low-income adults in need of essential transportation.
